What's happening at Waimairi this Autumn/Winter?
Mid Week Womens Team Tennis
Are there any ladies out there interested in playing in a midweek team?
We have an A grade team that plays home and away games against other clubs each Wednesday
morning, and two B grade teams, one playing Monday mornings and the other Wednesday mornings.
Games are doubles only and play is followed by lunch. It is very sociable and play is for fun.
The season is from September to May and although the season is almost at an end positions are
available now.

Heineken Winter Business House Competition
This popular team competition is held each Thursday night at Waimairi commencing on Thursday 30 April
and continuing for 12 weeks, culminating in a finals night. Heineken is our sponsor.
Competition is based on 4 handed teams playing three doubles matches lasting one hour and a half in total,
and is open to members and non-members alike. A social session follows play - food is provided and a
special liquor licence is in place. Cost $480.00 per team.($10.00 per player per week unless sponsored.)
New teams are welcome, or put your name on the list at the clubhouse if you are interested in joining a team.

Winter Junior Coaching Programme
The Hunt Tennis Academy will be running the junior coaching programme again this winter under the control of
Head Coach Alistair Hunt. The programme commences 27 April and continues for the two winter school terms.
Several programmes are available to cater for various ages and abilities.

Junior Prizegiving
Trophies will be presented to junior club champions on Sat 4 April at 4pm at Waimairi, followed by snacks and drinks.
