Welcome to Waimairi Tennis Club
Waimairi Tennis Club was formed in 1929, operating from Waimairi School for two years before moving in 1931 to its present address at 49 Watford Street.
The Club became an incorporated society in 1934 and celebrated its 75th jubilee in 2009.
Waimairi is a friendly, social club and very much a part of the local community, catering for players from beginners and social through to inter-club teams at both junior and senior level.
Through good leadership and support from committees and members over the years, Waimairi has become the largest club in New Zealand. It has achieved the Gold ClubMark accreditation award.
We look forward to enquiries from potential new members.

The weather might well be cold outside but now that it is August it is time to start thinking about the upcoming Tennis season. Our website now has the first Waimairi Tennis Newsletter for the season, informing you of important dates & events coming up for the 2011/2012 season.
It promises to be a great year ahead & we look forward to seeing you on court soon.
